The hotel offers its own exclusive stretch of beach, offering a secluded atmosphere that makes you feel worlds away from everything—perfect for the ultimate recharge and relaxation. This is also where you can find Enalia Seaside Restaurant, the beach Gazebos and the option to book a private candlelit dinner experience on the beach.

The Room

We stayed in a Sea View Family Room, featuring sliding doors that open onto a spacious balcony with breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and the pool below. The room includes a double bed and two single beds, making it ideal for families. Its minimalist design exudes subtle elegance, paired with modern comforts, creating the perfect retreat for relaxation. The Sea View Family Room is available with Bed and Breakfast, Half Board, or as part of the Gold Ultra All-Inclusive Collection.

The Sea View Amada Villas offer an exquisite choice for those seeking the ultimate 'golden feeling of generosity.' Spanning two floors and featuring a private pool with uninterrupted views of the Aegean, these villas are crafted to surpass every expectation. Guests enjoy complimentary airport transfers, luxury welcome amenities, and daily seasonal fresh fruit platters. Additional perks include the option for in-villa breakfast, access to a private Grand Gazebo on the beach for stays of four nights or more, and a complimentary massage, among other luxurious benefits. I actually enjoyed a one hour exotic massage in their spa facilities by a lovely lady called Mai, and it was utter bliss!

Food & Drink

The resort's main restaurant focuses on premium-quality dishes and an extensive buffet selection, including a daily traditional Greek breakfast. Beyond this, guests can choose from three à la carte restaurants, each offering Greek, Italian, or Asian cuisine. Additionally, the newly opened seaside restaurant, Enalia, provides a unique dining experience right on the beach.

Experience authentic Rhodian cuisine, where dishes are prepared over hot coals, on spits, and in wood-fired ovens. Enjoy your meal while taking in the breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea as the sun sets.

Hai - Asian Fusion

On our first evening, we dined at Hai, and it was a delicious experience for everyone after a long day of travelling! The highlight for me was the dessert, especially watching the bananas being caramelised right before our eyes. We shared an array of dishes, and I particularly enjoyed the delicious Tofu Soup.

Benini's - Italian Cuisine

Benini's Italian Restaurant was a big hit with the kids, serving delicious freshly made pizzas and pastas. The boys both had a pizza, whilst myself and my partner enjoyed pasta dishes.

Beach Gazebo Hire

We spent two blissful days in the beach Gazebos, which you can rent during your stay. Each Gazebo comes with a selection of chilled beverages, fresh fruit platters, afternoon snacks, and even a bottle of bubbly. Although I’m not usually a beach enthusiast, this setup was perfect. It allowed me to enjoy the beach in privacy and comfort while keeping an eye on my children playing just meters away. I highly recommend this experience for both families and couples!

Breakfast

One thing was clear: breakfast was definitely worth getting out of bed for! On one morning, we had breakfast delivered to our room, and it quickly became one of my favourite dining experiences of the trip. With the sun rising over the sea, our balcony was bathed in beautiful morning light. We decided to let the hotel select the dishes for us, and everything was exquisitely presented and delicious. I even discovered a new favourite breakfast dish featuring bulgur wheat, fresh fruits, and tomatoes - it was so good!

What's on for Families?

Pool and Waterpark

If you asked my children what they enjoyed most about our stay at Amada Colossos Resort, it would undoubtedly be the water park and swimming pool, the evening entertainment and the food. The highlight of the stay was most definitely the on-site water park, with 5 slides, a section for toddlers, children and teens, and even an adult only area. The pool was another big hit with the boys, again, with an adult only area and children's area. It also has three bars you can swim up to - one family bar, one healthy bar and one adult only bar.

Evening Entertainment

Each night we also went to to the Amphitheater and enjoyed the evening entertainment with the kids. My absolute favourite was their production of 'Mamma Mia' and it kept the kids amused from beginning to end.

Things to do Nearby

Explore Rhodes

One day, we took a taxi from the resort to Rhodes and explored the charming cobbled streets of this medieval town. I found some beautiful olive wood souvenirs and discovered several lovely coffee spots. We particularly enjoyed a stop at 'Barajar,' where the baked goods were delicious, and the outdoor seating area, nestled under a tree canopy, provided a perfect setting for a relaxing pit stop.

Greek Cats

If like me, you are cat crazy then you will love wandering round saying hello to all the friendly Greek cats. This handsome guy was all too happy to pose and be made a fuss of!

Koskinou Village

Just a ten-minute drive from the resort, I highly recommend taking a leisurely stroll through this charming village. We also discovered a fascinating 'Museum of the House,' where a local guide gave us a tour of a traditional Greek home from years past. The streets are adorned with Greek cats, quaint bistros, and eye-catching blue and white façades. We rented a car from the hotel’s reception, and the process was incredibly efficient—within five minutes of walking into the office, we had the keys and were ready to go!
