Recipe details
Ingredients
- 3 bars of chocolate (equal size – I used 1 x Cadbury’s Caramilk and 2 x Cadbury’s White Dairymilk)
- Malteser Bunnies
- Mini Eggs
- Easter sprinkles, sweets or edible decorations
Decoration notes: The larger carrots are from Dr Oetker, the mini ones were sourced on Amazon, and the pastel Lucky Charms-style sweets are from Flying Tiger – but feel free to use whatever Easter-themed toppings you have on hand!
Instructions
How to Make Bunny Bark:
- Preheat your oven: Set your oven to a low heat – around 80ºC (fan) or slightly below if using conventional.
- Line your baking tray: Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Unwrap your three chocolate bars and place them side by side on the tray.
- Melt the chocolate: Pop the tray in the oven for 8–10 minutes – just enough to soften the chocolate bars so they can be swirled together (but not so much that they fully melt into a liquid).
- Swirl: Remove from the oven and use a skewer or cocktail stick to swirl the chocolates together into a marbled effect. Don’t overmix – a little swirl gives a pretty finish.
- Decorate: While the chocolate is still soft, scatter over your toppings – Mini Eggs, Malteser Bunnies, carrots, sprinkles, and any other pastel-themed goodies.
- Chill: Place in the fridge for at least 1 hour until fully set.
- Break and Enjoy!: Once set, break into shards or slice with a sharp knife into pieces. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
