Ingredients
- 1 roll of ready made puff pastry
- 6 good quality sausages (see below for alternatives)
- 12 edible eyes
- Garlic butter for brushing (optional)
- Ketchup and mayo for dipping (optional)
Instructions
- Pre heat your oven to 190ºc and line a tray with greaseproof paper.
- Unroll your puff pastry and cut into strips width ways. I like to keep mine around 0.5cm thick to avoid them looking too bulky, and find a pizza cutter is the neatest way to do this.
- Take each sausage and wrap the puff pastry round the sausage like bandages. I find about three strips per sausage is perfect.
- Lay the sausages on the tray leaving a 3-4cm gap between them.
- Bake for 25 minutes and serve right away.
